I am a native Spanish speaker from Costa Rica who have a Master's Degree in
Translation from National University of Costa Rica and a Bachelor's
Degree in English from University of Costa Rica, the best university
in Central America and Caribbean. In addition, I went twice to China
to study Mandarin Chinese language during one year each time in
Yanshan University, Hebei where I obtained HSK Level 4, as well as
Sun Yat-sen University in Guangdong, the best university in South
China. Similarly, I have taken courses on that language during three
years more in my country's Confucius Institute.
In China, I worked for Pactera Technology International Ltd. as
English-Spanish translator.Before going to China, I worked in Accenture for more than two years
as copywriter and content manager for global major clients.
Also, I worked approximately three years for Inlingua de Costa Rica
S.A., a major translation company in my country, as translator,
proofreader and copywriter in projects related to Software
Localization, Telecommunications, Economics, Tourism, among others,
for different clients like Ericsson, Wal-mart, General Secretariat
for e-Government, Barceló Hotels & Resorts, etc. Besides,
I have been working since 2010 as freelancer providing translation,
proofreading, and copywriting services for documents of different
fields like technology, medicine, tourism, and advertising.
