Source text - Portuguese O inédito sistema a ser implantado na unidade da GM em Joinville, prevê a instalação de 1.280 módulos fotovoltaicos e estes painéis ocuparão uma área de 2.115 metros quadrados, que gerará energia para o circuito de iluminação de toda a unidade industrial e também para as suas áreas administrativas. Não haverá integração com o processo produtivo. A energia gerada por este sistema equivale ao consumo de 285 casas, e evitará a geração de 10,5 toneladas de CO2 por ano.
O sistema de aquecimento solar na unidade de Joinville fornecerá 15.000 litros de água quente por dia, o equivalente ao consumo de 750 pessoas e suficiente para atender a 80 casas populares. A economia prevista por ano é de 8.800 m3 de gás natural – ou ainda, ou 7.190 Kg de GLP ou 96.100 kWh -, evitando a geração de 17,6 toneladas de CO2 por ano. Esta iniciativa suprirá as necessidades dos vestiários e cozinha.
Este sistema de aquecimento solar tem como principais vantagens:

Source text - English SHIPPING LESS STUFF: POSTAGE AND COURIER GUIDELINES
With the availability of SharePoint and other electronic solutions, there are fewer and fewer occasions when we really need to ship physical documents. And when we do have a reason to send something, like bulky materials, we can often get the best price by planning ahead.
So, our challenge is to reduce the amount of material we ship… and when we do ship, do it the most efficient way possible.
We’ll start by setting postage/courier budgets by location, based on the average cost per package and the number of shipments per month. This budget will cover all expenses related to courier services (e.g. FedEx, UPS) and regular postage. It will exclude costs to ship and distribute point of sale material to the sales force, which falls under the “Sales – Direct Trade Marketing Materials” sub-package, and cost to ship testing samples, which falls under the “Outsourced Business Services - Laboratory Services” sub-package. It also excludes the shipping of our products to our customers. See Appendix A for definitions.
Another way we can reduce costs is by bundling our mail. Therefore, we will only ship mail three times per week, with the specific days depending on country norms. Note that this doesn’t apply to critical customer mail and Legal, HR or Tax related notifications, delivery of which is time-bound.
When shipping, here’s the checklist you must follow:
When possible, send things electronically (by email, SharePoint etc.).
Always use carriers approved by regional procurement (domestic or international).
Domestic shipping must be via the lowest cost, yet reliable, provider (from the defined list) that can arrange delivery within 3 to 5 business days.
Please only use domestic express shipping in exceptional circumstances – exceptions will be monitored and reported by the office manager.
When sending things internationally, always use standard mail, unless legally or contractually required otherwise

Começaremos pelos orçamentos de franquias postais e serviços de entrega rápida por endereço de unidade, com base no custo médio por pacote e no número de remessas por mês. Esse orçamento cobrirá todas as despesas relacionadas aos serviços de entrega rápida (por ex., FedEx, UPS) e às franquias postais normais.
