My original background is print journalism. I have a bachelor degree in Social Communication from the Universidade
de Sao Paulo, in Brazil, and a certificate of translation in Portuguese-English from
the University of Toronto.

Working in daily newspapers, I occasionally produced translations, a job that brought me immense satisfaction for bringing together the activities that I love - writing and transposing the message from one language into another.

I've been working as translator and interpreter in the Portuguese and English language pair for over 10 years. I also have worked as a conference interpreter on diverse subjects, from mining to international standards, pot production, pharmaceuticals, sanitation engineering and education.
