I'm a freelance translator with more than fifteen years of experience.

I'm Brazilian, from Rio de Janeiro, currently living in Montevideo, Uruguay.
I've been working as a translator since 1992, and as a simultaneous interpreter since 1998 at local and international conferences, congresses, meetings, etc. I am also a subtitler.
My languages are Portuguese, Spanish and English. I taught Portuguese at Universidad Católica del Uruguay for more than 6 years. I also worked as a webmaster, building sites with affiliate programs in all areas of education.
I studied Business Administration in Rio de Janeiro at Universidade Santa Úrsula.

I do translations, proofreading and transcriptions in several formats and use different tools (Adobe Acrobat, Frontpage, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Wordfast, and HTML). I'm learning to work with TRADOS. I work hard, I'm fast, detail-oriented and fully committed to projects and deadlines.
My areas of specialization are: education, travel and tourism, legal, art, business and finance, IT, among others. Education and tourism are my favorite ones.
I translated four books into Portuguese:
