Translation - English The Islamic settlement formally known as Qalát Rabah, is one of the most important and best preserved medieval sites in the Iberian Peninsula. Its historical events, on the banks of the river Guadiana, took place between the 8th and 15th centuries, and have always been of fundamental importance in the Meseta(central plateau). It was the urban enclave of the regional caliphate, the first possession of the Templars in Castille and the place where the first Hispanic military order was founded as well as being the most northern town of the Almohade empire.

Translation - English The territory being studied is within the Iberian Varisco Massif, in Central Iberia, inside the Vertical Folds Dominion, within the confines of the natural region of Campo de Calatrava. The relief is characterised by the alternating alignments and mountain massifs of the Primary Era, organised mainly in a WNW-ESE direction and separated by strike-slip faults and grabens which give rise to depressions silted by Cenozoic sediments either connected to the sedimentation of the great Manchego basin or belonging to a local deposit caused in numerous cases by volcanic activity (González Cárdenas et al., 1998; Gallardo Millán, 2005). La actividad laboral fue preponderante entre los niños y jóvenes que no asistieron a la escuela en 2007, ya que 63, 93 y 97% de quienes respectivamente, se encontraron en esta situación en los grupos de edad 6-11, 12-14 y 15-17, dedicaron al menos una hora semanal a alguna actividad, al interior del propio hogar, como realizar reparaciones menores o cuidar infantes o familiares enfermos; o fuera de él, como acomodar coches o vender dulces en la calle. Translation - English Regarding CL the study makes some findings. The vast majority of children and adolescents studying or working regard work as a wide concept, including that carried out both in and outside the home. Working was preponderate among the children and youngsters who did not attend school in 2007, since 63, 93 and 97% of whom respectively, were found in this situation in the age groups 6-11, 12-14 and 15-17, dedicated at least one hour a week to some activity, inside their own home, such as carrying out minor repairs or taking care of infants or sick relatives; or outside the home, such as parking cars or selling sweets on the streets. I was born in Wimbledon, London and with an insatiable appetite for learning about different cultures, history and languages and some of the places I have travelled to have been Moscow, Siberia, Azerbaijan, Paraguay and Argentina.
In 2002 I packed up my life and drove from England to central Spain, a trip that took me 3 days and my destination has been my new home ever since.
Having mastered Spanish, I completed a 16-week course "Introduction to Translation" run by International House in Barcelona. During the course I translated articles in business, science, law, technology, films and literature.
Translations and Interpretations in the world of wine
I live in Ciudad Real, which is the largest producer of wine in Spain so Translate Naturally, my corporate name, focuses on Spanish to English translations related to the world of wine: websites for wineries, tasting notes, marketing material for wine producers.

I am also a qualified conference interpreter and have extensive experience in both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.
I have used this skill at The Spanish Poticki-Lupski Syndrome Association, Fenavin, the international wine fair here in Ciudad Real where I helped a winery owner communicate with potential buyers from the USA, and for the Global Greens an environmental NGO where I interpret for Spanish-speaking and non-Spanish speaking delegates from green parties in different countries; and Soria Gastronómica, a 2-day international conference about the local gastronomy in Soria.

Apart from that, I have a certificate in Spanish <>Englishmedical interpretation from ALTA which certifies 40 hours of study in this area. I also work with Spanish>English medical translations. For instance, I recently worked on the subtitles for a webinar about the advantages of robotic surgery, and another one about the results from the clinical trials for different medicines for treating kidney cancer.

As regards these subtitles, I can create them from scratch as I am proficient with editing tools for this purpose such as Subtitle Edit, Subtitle Workshop and Aegisub.
I have also worked on different subtitles for TED talks and I am a reviewer there.
My Capacity
Depending on my schedule and the technicality of the texts I am dealing with, I can translate up to 15,000 words a week.
