My name is Janina Ralda, I'm a Certified Sworn Translator and also have a Translation degree of Universidad Galileo in Guatemala. I've large experience translating several fields among which there are Engineering (Electrical Engineering with large experience); Construction (Laws and Technical); IT Systems (Very large experience working for agencies in Israel (both for military IT and communications IT, and in Mexico for Oil and Gas telecommunication systems), Legal (Sworn translations), Health, Environment (including Clean Energy), Marketing, Finances, Chemistry, NGO and GO-related, Technical documents, among others, as well as advanced studies in Engineering and Finances. I also have large experience translating Bids (including contracts thereof) for countries such as Israel, Costa Rica, United States, Guatemala, among others. Also, I've been working for several years for a Translation agency in UK and Japan for a worldwide vehicle brand (both user and technician manuals), and I've translated more than 900 thousand words.

I held the position of Coordinator of the Translation Career in Universidad Galileo teaching Technical/financial areas for graduating students, and other technical/literary courses. I worked 16 years in the Electric Power Company of Guatemala, I held the position of Assistant to the Business Management Unit translating and editing technical/marketing documents in areas such as Energy (Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Clean Energy, Safety, among other related themes) Business (general), investments, hydroelectric power plants, equipment, tools, among others. Nowadays I run a Translation office attending customers in several technical/finance/Accounting areas (large use of SAP in the Accounting and Finance Area), among others. I translate for organizations such as World Vision (almost in a daily basis, translating many of their monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual reports in several fields. I also have experience coordinating translations for this organization) and UN in Honduras (Themes on Family Planning and Development of Human Rights, Advocacy, HIV/AIDS Documents, for UN Honduras, UN Online volunteering, and World Vision)
