My contact with the Anglo-Saxon culture and the British English started in the preliminary school where I visited private tutelage in English. Then at high school I got enlisted in the English language intensive study class at the Natural Sciences and Mathematics gymnasium in my home town. During these years I started to cherish deeply the art of translation. This led me to pursuing an undergraduate degree in English Studies and later a postgraduate degree in conference interpreting. With this strong background of 16 years of training and studying the English language I entered the job market in Bulgaria as a professional translator and escort interpreter. I quickly felt that in order to be successful in translating for the international business world one needs a good grounding in trade and contract law, business processes and business informatics, advertising, international accounting, forex, external trades operations, standards, etc. Hereby I pursued an academic training on international business relations and gained the awareness and understanding that have made me even better in my trade.

Today I have 14 years of experience as a translator and escort interpreter for a big business entity in the defense sector of my country. With the advent of the digital marketplaces and Internet technologies I have also reached for and satisfied the needs for professional translation to Bulgarian of a several translation companies from Germany, England, Italy, USA, Lithuania and Hungary.

What I hold dear when dealing with my trade is that one never gets bored when working as a translator and interpreter since the scope of work is limitless and versatile.
