I am a London-based freelance Japanese interpreter and translator. A native English speaker, I have a BA in Japanese from the University of Oxford and an MA in Interpreting and Translating (Japanese) from the University of Bath. I have over three years' experience of living in Japan, both studying and working, as well as two years' experience of working for a major Japanese telecommunications company in London. I regularly interpret for arts, culture, and entertainment related guests from Japan, as well as business, NGO, and other meetings. I undertake translations in a variety of fields including business, culture, marketing and travel. In addition to interpreting and translation, I am also a regular presenter on an NHK (Japan's state broadcaster) TV programme. |
