Bio
I was born in Argentina where I studied translation for two and a half years, then moved to Brazil. Here I graduated in Letters in 2013 at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. I've been a Spanish SL teacher since 2007 and simultaneously developed my career as a translator. Actually, my first experiences in translation go back to 1995 and 1996 when I interpreted and escorted telecom techs and engineers from the Iguazu Falls to Northern Patagonia setting up the cell phone network fon CTI Argentina (today Claro Argentina).
After a long break from those first experiences I started to reach out to translation agencies and looking for direct clients, and I've been working in several fields. At first I focused on Human Sciences academic texts (History, Social Work) but the requests form the agencies took me to corporate and institutional communication, marketing and most recently IT, as well as consumer products and marketplace catalogs, Oil & Gas and some gaming and patents. During the Covid-19 pandemic, just like so many of us, I started looking for new fields and began studying subtitling which is one of my preferred areas right now.
