I have been translating on a freelance basis since 2003. As a student I offered translation and proof-reading services in my academic and other subjects (humanities, social sciences). As you can see from my attached CV I have attended University both in England and Switzerland.

After my studies I gained extensive experience in international sales and marketing, business consultancy and project management within the telecommunications industry. I have also worked at a renowned literary agency in Zurich.

I now specialise in commercial documents, business contracts, marketing collateral, financial reports and so on. Through my business experience I have developed the tenacity required to complete high word counts under time pressure and at high quality.

Beyond my academic subjects and working experience, I take a strong interest in technology and computing (Web design, Windows and Linux), and am able to competently localise software, software manuals, and web pages.

I can confidently translate into either direction (EN>DE, DE>EN).
