Simon Cole

Trained as a microbiologist, I worked for 23 years in technical support with industrial customers, solving process filtration problems mostly in the pharmaceutical industry. Lots of experience of GMP, process engineering, validation, SOPs and processing techniques. I travelled in much of Europe and many more distant parts of the world to visit industrial plants, managing support teams and contributing to the European senior management team, giving me a good basis in business management and finance. I was directly involved in implementing ISO9001 Quality systems in technical divisions in two companies.

I started translating in May 2006 and cover a wide range of projects, including Pharma (of course), but ranging from precision engineering, industrial machine tools, CAD studies of the Great Pyramid of Khufu (or Cheops) at Giza and major construction projects, to marketing proposals, scientific papers, air accident reports, business training courses, finance (IAS/IFTS2007), Quality Management (ISO9001) and Medical Device quality (ISO13485).
