I started my company, TekDok, LLC, in January 2008. I provide technical writing, translation, editing, proofreading and localization services in two language pairs; Swedish to English and English to Swedish. My main areas of specialization are engineering/technical documentation (manuals, specifications, schematics, training material) and software.

Prior to establishing my own business, I spent several years in the US space industry as a research engineer at Southwest Research Institute (Space Science and Engineering Division). I gained extensive experience in electrical design and verification testing of space qualified hardware, e.g. spectrometers, data processing units and avionics systems, spanning many programs like NASA’s GLAST and IBEX missions as well as ESA’s Aspera-3 and Mars Express missions. I experienced every aspect of the project process flow and learned a lot about the art of team work.
