With over 16 years of experience in English to Brazilian Portuguese translation, transcreation, and editing, my journey in the language industry has been a
fulfilling exploration of linguistic nuances and effective communication. 

My academic foundation includes a Master of Arts in Translation Studies from Dublin City University and a Bachelor of Arts in Languages and Literatures from Universidade Estadual de Londrina, which laid the groundwork for my passion for language intricacies.

My professional path has led me through various roles in the translation landscape. While working as a Reviewer, I focused on aligning translations with glossaries, style guides,
and ensuring consistent quality across various content types. This involved meticulous attention to detail and continuous learning to uphold high standards in translation accuracy and coherence.

During my time as a pt-BR Linguist for a leading social platform, I engaged with a range of products, enhancing my understanding of translation nuances in UI strings for platforms like social media, messaging, and virtual reality.

Across my roles, which included responsibilities in training linguists, managing queries, and conducting quality assessments, I've embraced the significance of adaptability and continuous improvement in this dynamic field.
