allowing up to 14 channels of surround sound.
More Features
Dolby Digital Plus adds interactive mixing, enabling
multiple new audio tracks to be mixed into the single
bitstream. These could be audio descriptors of the
video for the visually impaired, or a movie director’s
commentary streamed from the studio website.
