Hi

I am Leen. A Belgian living and working in Scotland. I studied translation studies in Ghent (Belgium) and obtained my masters degree in 2002. I have studied both technical (automotive, medical) and literary translation from Dutch to English, English to Dutch, French to Dutch and Dutch to French. In 2001 I studied a year at the Université Stendhal in Grenoble, where I did some English to French and French to English translation too.

I moved to Edinburgh in 2002 where I have been working with Belgian and Dutch customers (end users and B2B environment) in IT, digital photography, sales, manufacturing and logistics sectors. This working experience has given me a wide understanding and knowledge of specific terminology and jargon in Dutch, English French and also some German and Swedish.
