Source text - English This case refers to a 49-year-old woman with multiple myeloma. Past medical history included polycythemia, thrombocytosis, chronically low blood pressure, neuropathy and upper extremity deep vein thrombosis. Concomitant medications included warfarin, cortisone, codeine, paracetamol/oxycodone hydrochloride, morphine, gabapentin, lorazepam and hydroxyurea The patient received XXXX 1.3 mg/m2 on 7, 10 and 14 July 2006 (route of administration not provided) and doxorubicin hydrochloride 30 mg/m2 on 10 July 2006 (route of administration not provided).On the evening of 15 July 2006, she presented to the Emergency Room (ER) with acute fronto-temporal headache associated with vomiting, blurred vision, altered mental status, difficulty speaking, and tingling in right arm and leg.
