I have done more than 50 years of translation and writing work for Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation. I have wrote news commentary , translated news commentary , translated news in all the language pairs in which I have presented myself as qualified.
I specialise in translating current affairs , sports, political, historical,cultural,art/leterary,economics and marketing
I have basically a radio career. I joined as a casual
artiste in 1969 kids programme) in Bangladesh , Chittagong
, graduated to senior programme eventually. Was repatriated
to Pakistan in 1974-75 . Joined World service Radio
Pakistan in 1976 as a casual artiste . Appeared in
programmes lending voice compering , news translation ,
news commentary translation , translation of religious and
other scripts (English to Bengali and vice versa) . Wrote
news commentaries (in English and bengali) also did
translation job from Urdu to English,Bengali to english and vice versa . Continued doing
translation upto late nineties. My translator rating in
Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation was A level for English
to bengali , Bengali to English and urdu to English.
I worked for Big Word , Schreiber Translation, Department of Homeland Security , UK Homeland Security, DOJ, The Language Doctors and many others. I was sent to cover Bengali parliamentarians visit to Canada twice. Similarly I covered womens parliamentary delegation visit to Washington USA
