Several years of experience have established me as a respected, reliable and "no-nonsense" Dutch to English translator.
A BA (Hons) in Sociology and Media Studies and qualifications in English, French and Communications Studies ensure that my work is well- informed and accurate. Experience of life and work within the UK and the Netherlands guarantees a "bi-cultural" approach and a familiarisation with both the source and target languages.
My main experience, so far, has been with translation/communication agencies and this has, naturally, encompassed a wide range of text from diverse sources. Documents I have translated include annual reports, business proposals, medical testimonials and commercial correspondence. I have also worked directly for clients such as banks, the fashion industry and centres for alternative therapies.
