Source text - English The problem of being awkward with introductions is not, for many, an “unusual situation.” You may find that you are often uncertain about whether to introduce someone using their first name, last name, or both; about whether to use a qualifier (“this is my friend, ______”); even about whether or not it is in fact your responsibility to introduce two people in a given situation. But all of this is small potatoes compared with the seemingly inevitable mingling nightmare of having to introduce someone whose name you have forgotten.
It’s one thing to forget someone’s name if you’ve met them only once or twice, or if you haven’t seen them in a while. But all too often it’s someone whose name you really should know, and who is going to be insulted to find out you don’t. In other words, a faux pas in the making.
This is absolute agony when it happens, and I’ve watched hundreds of minglers try to deal with different ways, ranging from exuberant apology (“Oh GOD, I’m so sorry, JEEZ, wow, I can’t believe I’ve forgotten your name!”) to throwing up their hands and walking away. But there are better ways to deal with this kind of mental slip. Next time you draw a blank while making introductions, try the following ploy:
Force them to introduce themselves. This is the smoothest and most effective way to handle your memory lapse. When it’s done well, no one will ever suspect you. If you have forgotten one person’s name in the group, turn to that person first and smile. Then turn invitingly to a person whose name you do remember and say, “This is Linden Bond,” turning back casually toward the forgotten person. The person whose name you haven’t mentioned yet will automatically (it’s a reflex) say “Nice to meet you, Linden, I’m Sylvia Cooper,” and usually offer a hand to shake.

Warning
Do not place any objects, including fingers, into the Ignition Control other than the vehicle key.
Objects other than the vehicle key may cause the Ignition Control to fail.
In extreme low temperatures (–20°C [4°F] and below) do not allow the engine to ‘rev’ above 4,000 rpm, while at standstill or when moving off, until the coolant temperature gauge reaches normal operating temperature.
Do not press the vehicle key while driving.
If the key is pressed in and released the engine will stop
If the key is removed from the Ignition Control while driving the engine will stop but the steering lock will not engage until the vehicle has come to a complete stop.
Make sure that you are wearing appropriate footwear to efficiently operate the control pedals.
Insert the key to position ‘II’ by using the flat of a finger, as shown.
Press the key fully into the Ignition Control, hold in until the engine starts and release.
The Ignition Control will show red only if the brake (automatic) or clutch (manual) pedal is fully pressed down and the steering lock has released.
As a paddle is pulled back a gearshift will occur, this will be an upshift or downshift according to which paddle is pulled.
If the vehicle key is moved to position ‘0’ or removed from the Ignition Control while the vehicle is at a standstill, the transmission will automatically select Park.
It is not possible to select Park above 2 km/h (1 mph).
If the vehicle speed is less than 4 km/h (2.5 mph), Reverse may be selected from Drive, without pressing the brake pedal, to enable a vehicle ‘rocking’ i.e. to enable vehicle movement out of mud, snow, etc. If 4 km/h (2.5 mph) is exceeded then the transmission will automatically select Neutral.

Enforced disappearance is one of the most serious violations of human rights and it constitutes an international crime.
The disappeared person is deprived of all his or her rights and he or she remains totally defenceless, in the hands of his or her torturers, outside the protection of the law.
Enforced disappearance means by itself the denial of being human.
The practice of enforced disappearance causes severe sufferings to the relatives and to the friends of the disappeared:
the eternal wait for his or her return and the constant uncertainty about the fate and whereabouts of the loved one amount to a form of ongoing torture for mothers, fathers, wives, husbands, partners, sons, daughters, brothers and sisters of the disappeared person.
The wrongful removal of children born during the captivity of a mother subjected to enforced disappearance is a particularly heinous crime, contrary to any basic principle of humanity.
The practice of enforced disappearance violates the fundamental values of humanity and the basic principles of the rule of law and, in general, of international law.
Enforced disappearance challenges the very concept of human rights:
it amounts to the denial of the right of all persons to exist, to have an identity.
Enforced disappearance turns a human being into a non-being.
It is the ultimate corruption, the abuse of power that allows the perpetrators, while committing abominable crimes, to reduce law and order to something insignificant.
Unfortunately, enforced disappearance is not a practice of the past nor it is limited to a few regions of the world.

تنتهك ممارسة الاختفاء القسري القيم الرئيسية للإنسانية والمبادئ الأساسية لسيادة القانون وبصفة عامة القانون الدولي.
