Source text - Italian L’esposizione presenta la ricostruzione al vero dell'interno del Cabanon che Le Corbusier progettò e costruì per le sue vacanze a Cap Martin nel 1952, un capanno senza fasto apparente ma che costituisce un esempio singolare di microarchitettura, denso di significati.
Cassina, in continuità con la ricerca dei Maestri dell'architettura, ne ha curato la realizzazione, che viene ora proposta con l'obiettivo di divulgare una conoscenza più profonda dei valori dell'interno architettonico.
Al Cabanon ricostruito (il cui ingresso è consentito ad un massimo di quattro persone per volta che dovranno indossare speciali soprascarpe) si accede da uno spazio coperto in cui vengono proiettate e esposte immagini e testimonianze relative a Le Corbusier a Cap Martin.
Il Cabanon nasconde un pregevole esercizio di architettura di Le Corbusier, che intese assegnare solo all’interno dell’abitazione il primario valore architettonico.
Translation - English The exhibit features a life-size reproduction of the interior of the Cabanon that Le Corbusier designed and built for his vacations in Cap Martin in 1952, an apparently simple structure that is an amazing example of micro-architecture, dense with meaning.
Cassina, in continuation of the research of Masters of Architecture, oversaw the realization, on display with the aim of spreading deeper awareness of the values of the architectural interior.
Entrance into the rebuilt Cabanon (4 people at a time can go in, wearing special shoe coverings) is through a covered space where images and thoughts regarding Le Corbusier at Cap Martin are projected and hung.

Translation - English As soon as our (gorilla) wakes up in the morning, it enjoys a big breakfast of tender shoots, young branches, and succulent leaves. Towards noon it eats another, smaller meal, and then takes a nap. Before going to bed, it has a snack of fresh, tasty leaves. Sometimes it sneaks onto plantations and causes a lot of damage, because it not only eats fruit, but also drinks the trees' sap, destroying the trees one at a time.
