English to Spanish: Sistema CRA General field: Tech/Engineering Detailed field: Construction / Civil Engineering
Translation - Spanish CRA system consists of load-bearing and partition walls for constructing single family houses.
These load-bearing and partition walls are constructed with concrete, mixed with expanded clay and a covering made out of a 0,75 mm thick galvanized sheet used as a permanent frame. The sheet has omega-shaped slots lengthways (in vertical position) used to fix the sheets to the concrete and to install all the other installations. Once the concrete hardens, a perfectly flat surface is produced, where all types of surface finishes can be screwed on with threaded screws: concrete sheets, plaster sheets, Webertherm systems, wood, Terreal ventilated façades, etc.

Nevertheless, as it shall be stated hereinafter, my client has paid at the Notary Public of XXX, the amount of XXX (the remainder of the purchase price once deducted the present local tax on increased value of urban real estate, which was the responsibility of the sellers), to prove his will to comply with the subscribed private contract of sale.
Spanish to English: El Corral de pesquería General field: Art/Literary Detailed field: Fisheries
Translation - English At Jara Beach, when the tide goes out, a disturbing view meets the eye. Due to the low tide, some rocky walls can be seen perfectly marked out. It is a submarine construction that, under the sunset light, seems to be the last trace of a long lost civilization. On the contrary, those walls are only a fishyard, a very old fishing art that is characteristic of Cadiz’s coast and of which we have a wonderful example at Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
Of Arab origin and having been used by the Romans, a fishyard is an artificial and handcrafted construction, a kind of closed fishing reserve made of a porous stone, commonly found on Cadiz’s coast, called “oyster stone” or “piedra ostionera”. Its walls form a semicircle, which faces the beach and constitute the perfect habitat for a diverse colony of crabs, seaweed, mollusks and oysters. The fishyard is, in turn, divided into smaller fishyards with smaller walls. The outward facing wall, which is narrower at the higher part for favoring the entrance of water, can measure nearly three meters wide and can be fifty centimeters high at the nearest part to the shore and, as it deepens into the sea, it can reach up to two meters high. These walls have some openings or pipes for draining the fishyard when the tide goes out, which are covered with a metallic net or with a natural net made with vine shoots that prevents the bigger and adult fishes from escaping through the pipes.
At high tide, the ocean currents and the wind pull the fish to the fishyard and at low tide, they get trapped in it, making it very easy to catch them.
This fishing art can only be practiced on coasts, such as that of Sanlúcar, where there is a great difference between the high and low tides.
