English to Italian: Enzymatic Therapy General field: Medical Detailed field: Medical: Pharmaceuticals
Source text - English Without enzymes, life as we know it would not be possible. The same as the biocatalysis that regulates the speed at which physiological processes take place, enzymes carry out definitive functions related to health and disease. Such that, in a healthy system, all physiological processes take place in an orderly fashion and homeostasis is conserved. During pathological states, the latter can be profoundly disrupted. For example, the serious tissue damage that is characteristic of liver cirrhosis can notably deteriorate the property of cells to produce enzymes that catalyse key metabolic processes, such as the synthesis of urea. The inability of cells to convert toxic ammonia to non-toxic urea is followed by ammonia intoxication and, ultimately, hepatic coma. A set of rare, but often debilitating and even fatal, genetic diseases provides other examples of the drastic physiological consequences that can result from the deterioration of enzyme activity, even it is of a single enzyme.
XXX is a new combination of embryonic tissues, enzymes and active substances that, in addition to vitamins and trace elements, also contains genistein, lycopene, epigallocatechin gallate, lapacho and other components derived exclusively from natural substances. A special manufacturing process ensures that the different active ingredients in the enteric-coated tablet do not lose their potency and do not react among each other. The different active ingredients come in various time-release packagings, allowing the various active ingredients to be released at different times in the gastrointestinal tract. This favours the absorption of the various active ingredients in the bloodstream, and enhances their bioavailability.
CLINICAL INFORMATION AND PHARMACOLOGY
COMPOSITION:
Each 350-mg coated tablet of XXX contains:
Embryonic Extracts
Lapacho Tocopherol Succinate (Vitamin E)
Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D)
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)
Calcium
Zinc
Selenium (Sodium Selenite)
Genistein
Epigallocatechin Gallate
Lycopene
Pancreatin 7NF
Trypsin 2640 u
Bromelain 2500 GDU
Pure Papain
Glutathione Transferase
Glutathione Peroxidase
Superoxide Dismutase
Glutathione Reductase
MECHANISM OF ACTION:
The XXX compound, made up of embryonic extracts, enzymes and phyto-organic extracts, is of great importance, whereas it does not substitute conventional treatments but instead acts as a treatment booster.
How does XXX work?
It increases the disposition towards apoptosis; i.e., under the effect of XXX, abnormal cells succumb to normal, genetically programmed cell death. Modulation of the androgen receptor system in the prostate cell, thus influencing testoterone-dependent cell growth. Decreased synthesis of prostate-specific antigen (PSA), which is known as a tumour marker in prostate cancer.
Reduction of Bcl-6 expression and, consequently, stimulation of cellular immune defence. In addition, the components of XXX, acting in synergistic fashion, activate and support the internal mechanisms that generate and facilitate anti-oxidation and anti-inflammation. The beneficial effect is seen within a few days after starting treatment.
Pharmacokinetics
XXX tablets feature a coating that prevents them from dissolving in the gastric tract; instead, their main active ingredients are released in the intestinal tract. Once released, the main active ingredients pass into the bloodstream through the chyliferous membranes. The following ranges of absorption have been verified: bromelain 39%; pancreatin 19%; papain 7%; trypsin 28%. Once absorbed, the enzymes combine with the antiproteases alpha-1 antitrypsin and alpha-2 macroglobulin, thereby preventing the patient’s immune system from recognizing the enzymes as antigens, without this meaning that enzyme activity is inhibited. In fact, these antiprotease-enzyme complexes have proven pharmacological activity. The enzymes absorbed are eliminated hepatically or through the mononuclear phagocyte system. In some studies, it is also assumed that the enzymes absorbed could be eliminated through the pancreatic juice.
Estratti embrionali
Lapacho tocoferolo succinato (Vitamina E)
Colecalciferolo (Vitamina D)
Acido ascorbico (Vitamina C)
Calcio
Zinco
Selenio (Sodio selenite)
Genisteina
Epigallocatechina Gallato
Licopene
Pancreatina 7NF
Tripsina 2640 u
Bromelaina 2500 GDU
Papaina pura
Glutatione transferasi
Glutatione perossidasi
Superosside dismutasi
Glutatione reduttasi
MECCANISMI D’AZIONE:
Come funziona XXX?
