I grew up in several countries, namely France, Morocco, Italy and the United States (Boston, Massachusetts). I hold a law degree from the University of Montpellier, France as well as a Bachelor in economics from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
My interests and passions are eclectic and there are quite a few of them. Law and economics (both macro and micro-economics, political economics), history, literature, journalism; politics and government, just to name a few...and languages of course. I happen to think that all these fields are intertwined somehow.
In more than twenty one years of experience, I developed significant experience in legal, financial translations as well as anything pertaining to social sciences.
As an interpreter, I worked often in the USA as well as in Morocco and elsewhere. Most conferences addressed cooperation on various subjects, security, economic cooperation and development, climate change, disarmament and such.
Translating provides me with the opportunity to do what I do best, finding the right word and continuously developing my research skills and applying my credo(s) "No task is too big or too small" and "whatever it takes." Most importantly, it satisfies my innate curiosity and teaches me quite a bit about many subjects. Sure, it is stressful sometimes, but I do love being challenged.
