Translation - English For this function, programmed relays with bi-stable function are used(time of activation "0" for the relay decoder or "255" for the auxiliary relay of the door controller), in such a way that the relay will only deactivate when detection of the sensor stops.
Each sensor of a group will pair up (link) with the equivalent of the other group, for example sensor 125 will link with sensor 325, and 143 with 343 etc.
On starting the services, the server applications establish communications with the installation, in a way that everything that happens in the installation remains registered on the servers, as well as having access to the servers of the client applications, which will use the information stored and configured in them (the client applications store their own information on the server database)

Spanish to English: VESICULAR LIPIDIC SYSTEMS, Liposomes and PLO (Pluronic Lecithin Oranogel): Characterization by Electronic Transmission Microscopy Detailed field: Medical (general)
Translation - English Figure 1 corresponds to a microphotograph of a suspension of multilaminar liposomes made up of PC:AT in molar ratio 1:1 24 hours after preparation. These vectors have an average diameter of 0.45±0.13 m. In the figure the phospholipid bilayers can be seen alternating with aqueous compartments, as well as a central polar area. The diffusion of the colouring used (uranyl acetate at 2%) reveals the existence of transparent areas on electron bombardment (areas which the colouring has not been able to reach) and electrodense areas which denote the presence of heavy metal.
For this reason, the hydrophobic layers of the vesicles behave as though transparent, whilst the polar parts, concentric to the previous ones, correspond to the electrodense areas, which appear dark to us.

Translation - English Field artillery
Field artillery was one of the most powerful weapons which could have an arsenal. With a greater firing range and able to be operated from the rear guard with protection from supporting troops, artillery guns fired salvoes of projectiles which could wipe out the target area.
All nations had light and heavy artillery units. The first ones consisted of 105 mm guns or equivalent, not as powerful as the large 150 mm batteries, but they could transport almost double the emergency ammunition supply, allowing them to operate for longer on the battlefield.
Heavy artillery units could fire their large calibre projectiles to greater distances, and were able to fire smoke projectiles which could cover an extensive area of ground with smoke. Smoke could be used in front of fixed enemy weapons in order to restrict their vision and prevent them pointing at allied units.

I have worked as a translator and interpreter for the military for fourteen years, where I specialised in Russian initially and then Spanish. During my career I had to work meticulously, and always to strict deadlines. Working with a diverse range of military and commercial material, accuracy was of paramount importance.
To give one or two examples: during my career I worked for three years at Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) as a translator and expert in various communications systems. As well as translating and transcribing, I formed part of a team that was able to analyse radio communications and operate a range of sophisticated recording, receiving and analysis equipment. This sort of team working was also carried out in various warships, aircraft and submarines, for varying lengths of time. There were many other career postings abroad, during which much valuable experience was gained in using the target language and understanding cultural differences.
As a qualified yachtmaster, I also have much experience in the yachting world, having sailed many thousands of miles of ocean in different types of sailing vessel, from 20m ketches down to 9m sloops, as either a crew member, watch leader or first mate. I am familiar with general and specific sailing terminology in Spanish and English, as well as with the general routine, maintenance and running of a yacht and its crew.
I also try to spend at least a few months of each year in a Spanish speaking country - something I now consider to be a priority and an essential part of being a translator.
I decided to become a freelancer fairly recently following a long career, and I am so happy I did; I enjoy translation so much that the qualities considered essential for the profession come naturally to me.
