Translation may have been what brought me into this profession, but somewhere along the way I became equally fascinated by everything that happens around it: terminology, style guides, quality reviews, localization workflows, and all those tiny linguistic decisions most people never notice unless they're done badly. A large part of my career has involved reviewing translations, solving terminology puzzles, evaluating linguistic quality and helping multilingual content feel natural, consistent and fit for purpose. In other words: I spend a lot of time figuring out why something sounds slightly off and refusing to let it go until I know exactly what's causing it. I hold a Master's Degree in Translation and New Technologies, specializing in software, web, video game and mobile app localization. Over the years, I've worked with global technology companies on projects involving localization, MTPE, LQA, terminology management and multilingual content evaluation.
