Born in Nairobi City, I grew up speaking 3 languages, Somali from my own mother, Swahili the national language of Kenya and English the Official Language of Kenya. I spent most of my childhood in Nairobi where I became language interpreter in one of the international Non-Governmental organisations operating in Somalia as I am a multilingual person.
