Source text - English Opening Day Diary: On August 29th at about 5:45 AM, I was alone and walking halfway down the wide hallway toward the Kindergarten room. I wanted to take one last tour of the spacious classrooms and empty large glass windows. The teachers and assistants had been hired and trained. The students had been enrolled -Kindergarten through fifth grades. I wondered—would the students really come? Would the teachers be on time? If everyone came as expected, would the meals and milk arrive for breakfast, lunch and snacks?
The rooms for grades three through five have their larger tables and are as spacious and warm. The children will feel safe and secure here. They must know that much is expected of them. The children must learn a lot and have lots of fun. The flags are up in all of the rooms as well as the school motto—”Respect Yourself and Others. Act with Kindness. Work Hard and Have Fun!
It is now almost 6:00 AM and I head toward the office area. I see the managing assistant step off of the elevator and I am very happy to see her. A volunteer assistant arrives as well. The students will start arriving soon. Together, the three of us set up for breakfast and the head assistant takes her walkie-talkie downstairs to the drop off point for the students. Minutes later the first group of students arrive and are eating their breakfasts and talking with old but mostly new friends. By 7:15 AM, the children are led to class grade by grade by an assistant.
The phones ring in the office area. The District is on the line, the book publisher, the food service vendor, the uniform company, parents checking on their students, some who have for the first time ever been away from their parents.
Teachers are impressive and energetic, taking charge of their classrooms, explaining why CCA is special and describing school rules. Getting to know their students and are beginning to teach our traditional curriculum which is enhanced by the central theme of conservation.
The opening day of school is over. The last student has been picked up. No injuries. No accidents. Only a few tears in Kindergarten from those who missed their mommies. All in all a great day and great way to start a new school year.

Screw extrusion is the process where resin drops into the screw. This screw feeds the die with a constant supply of resin in which the product is forced into a shape and comes out the die. Sheet, rod and profile are made by this process. In the sheet manufacturing process, this hot plastic comes out of a die in the approximate width and thickness that you need. It then goes through three rolls that will relieve stress and apply a finish to the top and bottom surfaces.

Polymer orientation refers to processes used to align and elongate polymer molecules and crystal structures exclusively in one direction (uniaxial orientation), or in two directions (biaxial orientation). In the case of uniaxial orientation, the principal benefits of the process are improvements in strength and modulus in the orientation direction. Biaxial orientation improves the strength and modulus of the polymer in two directions, but also significantly improves the toughness of the polymer. Polymer orientation processes are used to manufacture polymer fibers, strapping, webbing, film, sheet and profiles.

Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) is a high-temperature-resistant thermoplastic suitable for wire coating, injection molding, film and advanced structural composites.
The material has good engineering properties, that is, tough, strong, rigid and creep resistant. The material also resists a wide range of solvents and exposure to radiation.
The wholly aromatic structure of PEEK contributes to its high-temperature performance. And its crystalline character gives it resistance to organic solvents, resistance to dynamic fatigue and retention of ductility on short-term heat aging. Molded PEEK components absorb much less water than many other thermoplastics.

ABSTRACT
A method for the quantitative determination of the β-stimulant formoterol in urine, using a gas chromatograph—mass spectrometer, is described. Formoterol can be analyzed after the addition of a deuterium-labelled internal standard and conversion to a mixed bispentafluoropropionyl-methyl derivative for selected ion monitoring. The detection limit was 5 ng/ml.
Urinalysis after the oral administration of formoterol fumarate, using a combined enzymic hydrolysis method, revealed that the drug was conjugated with glucuronic acid in rats, dogs and humans.

Se describe un método para la determinación cuantitativa del β-estimulante formoterol en la orina, utilizando un cromatógrafo gaseoso y un espectrómetro de masas. El formoterol puede ser analizado luego de la adición de un estándar interno marcado con deuterio y la conversión a un bis-pentafluoropropionil-metil derivado mixto para el monitoreo de iones seleccionados. El límite de detección fue de 5 ng/ml.
El análisis de orina luego de la administración oral de formoterol fumarato, utilizando un método combinado de hidrólisis enzimática, mostró que la droga estaba conjugada con ácido glucurónico en ratas, perros y seres humanos.
