I started my career as a conference interpreter in 1986 with the Council Of Europe and the European Union in Strasburg, Luxemburg and Belgium. Later on, I was based in Denmark and then in Greece where I worked for governments and private sector clients as well as the FAO and UNEP. In 1997 I moved to Canada and worked for the private market, ie trade unions, professional associations, international organizations and the Canadian Parliament. Since 2022 I live in France where I continue my career as an interpreter and teacher of English conversation. My extensive and international experience in the field of interpretation has provided me with sound skills, impeccable ethics and a strong adaptation capability. I am used to working for very different clients in very diversified environments. Understanding the culture of the languages I work with brings a higher degree of precision and accuracy to my work. I am available to travel and to do remote/online interpretation. |
