Bio
I started my career as a translator back in 2011 when I started translating for translated.net. I continued there until 2014 and moved it over to a service I provide on my own freelance platform, which I've named Roineland.com.
Being a language geek, translating came very naturally to me and I easily combined my translating with my other big freelance gig, writing.
I actually started roineland.com back in 2004 but as translation gigs were scarce back in the day, I kept it separate from my other work. In today's interconnected and remote world, I don't see a reason to do so any longer.
I've mainly translated techy stuff and I still do. IT/Tech/Software are the main areas I work but as I'm a trained chef, I try to work with culinary translations, when I get the chance, too.
