English to Swedish: From the short story Woods, by Sabina Pawlus General field: Art/Literary Detailed field: Poetry & Literature
Source text - English The rock gave off a nightly chill and even though it was a warm day, she could already feel the cold seeping through her clothes.
Translation - Swedish Klippan gav ifrån sig en ordentlig kyla och även om det var en varm dag kände hon hur hon rös när den trängde genom kläderna.
Born in Sweden, I spent a large portion of my childhood growing up in Norway. I attended most of primary school in Norway, meaning that my knowledge encapsulates the language as well as culture and society. During the last decade, I have cultivated my passion for design and human behavior as a UX designer, now I want to indulge my passion for languages and work as a translator.
I love to read and write, which I do in all the languages I know to make sure I keep them fresh and up to shape in my mind.
