I started translating because a book series I loved wasn't getting new volumes translated quickly enough, so I decided to do it myself. This was the beginning of my translation journey. To build my experience, I often work on indie game translations. Given that game translations often lack context, I play the games and use surrounding clues to ensure accuracy and natural flow. For me, understanding the context is key to quality translation. I aim to convey the original meaning while ensuring that the translated text feels natural and is easy to understand. This approach has helped me deliver translations that meet client expectations. |
