I’m pleased to offer translations from German to Norwegian in the areas listed above. My expertise is in the areas of plants and gardening, tourism and travel, culture and history. With my background as an experienced magazine journalist within these topics, as well as a language teacher with a university degree in German philology, I’m bringing my linguistic knowledge and understanding into the translation business. 

For many years I’ve had a strong interest in flowers and gardening, creating my own garden by studying plant names, garden styles and garden history. As a passionate traveller in the German speaking countries, I like to visit beautiful gardens in addition to museums, churches and other cultural and historic sights. As a bookstore employee for many years, I also enjoy reading books and developing my language skills in that way. I’ve done some translation work for a Norwegian museum, and translate texts for my daily research as a journalist. Translation was also part of my German studies at university.
