Spanish to English: Ciudad Basura General field: Art/Literary
Translation - English There was a simple man who loved traveling daily on his motorcycle and using public transportation in South Asia. He always enjoyed the places he visited and felt immense joy. His favorite spots were the countryside and rural areas with sparse populations, and his preferred destinations were the mountains. However, upon returning to the city, his heart was filled with mixed emotions - not just joy, but also bitterness and sadness as he saw people showing no regard for the environment. Streets and rivers were littered with trash, thrown without a second thought.
That's when he began taking initiatives to spread knowledge and ecological awareness among people. His goal was for many to understand the importance of caring for the natural surroundings. Gradually, with effort and determination, he managed to inspire the community to join his cause. Together, they started cleaning the streets, educating future generations about the significance of a clean and healthy environment, and advocating for nature conservation.
Over time, the city began to change. People started respecting and caring for the environment. Litter in the streets decreased, and the rivers became clean again. The simple man, who loved traveling and had turned his love for nature into a mission, made a significant difference. The city transformed into a more beautiful and healthier place for everyone.
And so, the story of this simple man reminds us that even one person can inspire positive change in the world if they are willing to fight for what they love and believe in.
English to Spanish: New Life at the Outher Space
Source text - English It was around the year 5046, in a space colony populated by approximately 256,890 citizens. They were situated roughly 100 years away from their home world, most likely Planet Earth. However, since this was a secret government-owned colony, contact with Earth was limited to high-ranking officials or special permits. Among the hundreds of citizens, there was a man named Dr. Juzkle. His primary role involved studying space bacteria, potential viruses for future societal development, and possible cures. Dr. Juzkle, with his deep interest in bacteria and viruses, was often ignored by his colleagues.
However, after a few years, he became fed up and decided to secretly conduct experiments in his dormitory. Here, he tried to mix and experiment with different animal DNA and viruses to create something new, possibly a space animal capable of surviving potential space contaminants.
After his initial injection experiment, he retired to his bed, sealing the metal airlock with a small blast window he had installed. Later, he woke up startled as a loud banging noise echoed against his door. The lights were off and broken, and when he approached the door, the noise abruptly stopped. He knew it wasn't wise to open the door immediately, but he needed to find a way to do so in order to continue his research.
Deep inside, he understood that he had made a mistake and created something potentially dangerous for the colony. He tried to examine the room through a window with a flashlight, but it was nearly impossible to see. However, he could discern numerous reddish-black strands scattered around the room, resembling stretched-out bubble gum. Nothing seemed to be moving like an animal. This strange, gelatinous substance left Dr. Juzkle feeling even more fearful and apprehensive. He desperately sought a solution to eradicate this threat once and for all.
