La película trata de un parte importante de la vida de Ernesto Guevara, originario de Buenos Aires, Argentina que tenía 23 años de edad y que más tarde seria conocido internacionalmente come revolucionario. Se base sobre el viaje de Ernesto y su mejor amigo Alberto Granado inicialmente en motocicleta, a través de América del Sur. Los dos amigos eran amantes de los caminos y querían hacer un viaje antes de terminar con sus estudios.
En 1952, un semestre antes de terminar sus estudios, Ernesto "Fuser" Guevara y su amigo mayor Alberto Granado, un bioquímico. Dejan Buenos Aires para viajar a través de América del Sur. Su destino final estaba en una colonia de leprosos en Perú, donde iban a trabajar como pasantes durante 3 semanas. Su método inicial de transporte fue un Norton 500, la motocicleta de Alberto bautizada “La Poderosa”. Tenían un plan muy ambicioso, irían a través de los Andes, a lo largo de la costa de Chile, a través del desierto de Atacama y en la Amazonia peruana con el fin de llegar a Venezuela justo a tiempo para el 30 cumpleaños de Granado el 2 de abril. Sin embargo, debido a la ruptura de la motocicleta de Alberto, se ven obligados a viajar a un ritmo mucho más lento, y no llegar a Caracas hasta julio. Durante el viaje, podemos captar el hecho de que Ernesto es un hombre honesto y siempre dice lo que muchas veces Alberto no quiere decir a la gente. También es muy respetuoso y siempre trata de poner todos los demás antes de sí mismo. Además de toda la lucha que ellos pasaron con la motocicleta, el viaje de diversión se volvió un descubrimiento de la dura realidad de la vida de las personas de la parte norte del continente. The film deals with an important part of the life of Ernesto Guevara, originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina at the age of 23 years old before he would later be known internationally as a revolutionary. It is based on Ernesto and his best friend Alberto Granado's journey initially on a motorcycle, through South America. The two friends loved the roads and wanted to take a trip before finishing their studies.
In 1952, a semester before finishing their studies, Ernesto "Fuser" Guevara and his older friend Alberto Granado, a biochemist, decided to leave Buenos Aires to travel through South America. Their final destination was in a leper colony in Peru, where they would work as interns for 3 weeks. Their initial method of transportation was a Norton 500, Alberto's motorcycle that they named "La Poderosa" (The Powerful one). They had a very ambitious plan, they would go through the Andes, along the coast of Chile, through the Atacama desert and into the Peruvian Amazon in order to reach Venezuela just in time for Granado's 30th birthday. On April 2. However, due to Alberto's motorcycle breaking down, they are forced to travel at a much slower pace, not arriving in Caracas until July. During the trip, we can catch the fact that Ernesto is an honest man and is always willing to say what Alberto often wont. He is also very respectful and always tries to put everyone else before himself. In addition to all the struggle they went through with the motorcycle, the fun ride turned into a discovery of the harsh reality of life for people in the northern part of the continent. This greatly changed the point of view of the two friends. The movie started out as a relaxing and fun ride, but later turned into a very serious and thoughtful drama depicting the arsh realities of life.
If you don't know much about Ernesto “Che” Guevara, this movie will help you understand his point of view and why he became a revolutionary. This movie is a great introduction to the life of this man and it is also full of experiences that anyone can relate to. Ultimately, it's a good movie to watch.
