Bio
I am Aurora Cavagnini, an Italian translator (EN>IT, KR>IT). I have a bachelor's degree in Asian and Mediterranean African Languages, Cultures and Societies from Ca' Foscari University. My curriculum was focused on Korean, my third language, along with English and of course Italian, my native language. During my studies I also attended a Korean university in Seoul as an exchange student. That allowed me to experience Korean culture for six months and study Korean language better.
I also have other various skills gained from relevant courses and work experience built up during my studies. I took a course in videogame localization, through which I acquired various technical skills on CatTools (MemoQ) and subtitling softwares (EzTitles). I also have experience in translation for a company as a data analyst in Korean language, and through an internship in patent translation.
I am motivated to challenge myself in everyday life, and I am always ready and interested in learning and expanding my knowledge working with the best in the field, because as someone said: "If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants
