Born and raised in Amman, Jordan, I continued my Bachelor’s studies in Political Sciences and International Relations as a scholarship student in Istanbul University, Turkey. I have earned a degree for translation from Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization in Amman, which covered various topics and skills through the period of 10 months. From a young age, I was motivated by my curiosity for other cultures, especially Japanese, and started learning the language when I was 14 years old. That was later followed by Russian, Chinese and Turkish. I was involved in translation from a young age too, as I volunteered for TEDx to translate from and into 3 languages online. I worked in several call centers in a foreign language. I started my first contract-job as a translator and a creative writer in Turkey. I freelanced for a short time, and then gave English classes in groups. I started my job as a history teacher in the international program in a private school in Jordan, where I am currently employed at. I am also preparing to publish my first translations from Turkish into Arabic. Thank you, enjoy your stay in my profile :) |
