With over 10 years of experience in the educational field, both as a docent and a pedagogical coordinator, I have a proven track record of improving students' knowledge and achieving high satisfaction levels.
As a docent, I could experience issues related to Basic and Higher education. As the 'agent' responsible for promoting interest and inspiration, I could help children, teenagers, and young adults plan and achieve a better life or establish new professional challenges. It was necessary to define personal interests and socio-economical obstacles in both situations to reach out to students’ preferences and ensure they received personalized assistance.
As a pedagogical coordinator, I experienced the educational issues involving children and teenagers from poor communities as well as the general problems faced by these communities (e.g., lack of essential survival resources, hungry, malnutrition, diseases related to lack of basic sanitation, chemical dependency, violence, criminality, among others).
Colleagues and superiors pointed me out as a leader driven by a desire to meet and overcome the expectations of those ignored by society and politicians. With strong empathy and active listening skills, I can quickly identify others’ needs and build a successful plan with them.
Recently, I graduated in Contemporary Literature from Utrecht University, broadening my action field and introducing me to new concepts in the translation area, such as marketing translation, localization, transcreation, and briefing construction. I had the opportunity to develop my thesis and do an internship approaching precisely these issues.
