Hi! My name is Dr Aewis Khin Wei Hii. I am native in both Mandarin-Chinese as well as English; and I am proficient (professional working) in reading, writing and speaking both languages.

I have a PhD and a Master Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom. I have lived in Malaysia for 17 years before moving to, and now permanently residing in the city of Bristol, United Kingdom. By day, I am also a postdoctoral researcher at the University, where I have significant experience in reviewing and writing technical paper and report in English. Languages are a huge passion of mine. As such, I am also a Mandarin-Chinese-English translation and localisation specialist. Since 2021, I have worked with international clients on a wide range of projects involving the translation and proofreading of technical documents, instruction manuals and video games subtitling. I am fluent in bespoke CAT software like memoQ.
