Source text - English The OTW Translation team is a group of over 100 people who dedicate themselves to helping content related to the OTW and its various projects reach as many fans as possible everywhere. We translate the organization's website, AO3 FAQs, news posts and a lot more! Translators can also opt to help the AO3 Abuse and Support teams with requests sent in their language. We work in two tiers: Translation staff and language teams. Staff coordinates translation assignments and documents, as well as keeps in touch with all other parts of the OTW in order to unearth new content that can be translated. Meanwhile, volunteer translators are organised in language teams of varying sizes—from just 1 translator to about 10—and focus solely on translating and editing translations. We have over thirty teams, in languages ranging from Arabic to Welsh. Teams decide which kinds of content they're up for translating, and staff organizes the documents, assignments and deadlines to help make that happen. If you're interested in joining Translation, you're very welcome to contact us at any point, and we'll follow up with you via email. You may be asked to translate short text samples that will then be evaluated by current language team members.
Translation - Spanish El equipo de traductores de la OTW (Organización para las Obras Transformativas) es un grupo de más de 100 personas que se dedica a llevar el contenido relacionado a la OTW y sus diferentes proyectos a la mayor cantidad posible de fans alrededor del mundo. Nos encargamos de traducir la página web de la organización, las preguntas frecuentes de AO3 (Un Archivo Propio), publicaciones de noticias ¡y mucho más! Los traductores también tienen la opción de ayudar a los equipos de Prevención de Abuso y de Soporte Técnico de AO3 con aquellas solicitudes que estén en sus idiomas. Dividimos el trabajo en dos niveles: el personal de traducción y los equipos de idiomas. El personal se encarga de coordinar los documentos y las tareas asignadas y de mantenerse en contacto con las otras partes de la OTW para encontrar contenido nuevo que todavía no se ha traducido. Por otro lado, los traductores voluntarios se organizan en equipos de idiomas de diferentes tamaños —varían desde solo 1 traductor hasta cerca de 10— y se dedican únicamente a traducir y editar traducciones. Tenemos más de 30 equipos en idiomas que van desde el árabe hasta el galés. Los equipos eligen el contenido que quieren traducir y el personal organiza los documentos, las tareas asignadas y las fechas límite para ayudarlos.
