Source text - Italian A quasi 200 anni di distanza dai primi studi sul Timavo, nasce il Progetto XXX che ha come obiettivo la gestione coordinata e la tutela dell’acquifero del Reka-Timavo attraverso il monitoraggio quantitativo e qualitativo delle acque ipogee e del territorio del Carso Classico. Il progetto intende garantire la gestione sostenibile della risorsa acqua rafforzando la coesione territoriale transfrontaliera. A tal scopo si stanno elaborando protocolli congiunti per uniformare le metodologie di raccolta dati, di rappresentazione e di codifica, al fine di definire le aree di salvaguardia delle sorgenti e dei pozzi captati a scopo idropotabile.
Translation - Slovenian Po skoraj 200 letih, ki so minila od opravljenih prvih študij o reki Timavi, se je rodil projekt XXX, katerega cilj je usklajeno upravljanje in zaščita vodonosnika Reka-Timava s pomočjo kvantitativnega in kvalitativnega spremljanja podtalnice in območja klasičnega krasa. Namen projekta je zagotoviti trajnostno upravljanje vodnih virov s krepitvijo povezav na čezmejnem območju. V ta namen razvijamo skupne protokole za standardizacijo metod zbiranja podatkov, njihovega predstavljanja in kodiranja, cilj pa je opredeliti področja varovanja izvirov in vrtin za pitno vodo.

Il regolamento (CE) n. 338/97 relativo alla protezione di specie della flora e della fauna selvatiche mediante il controllo del loro commercio, prevede (articolo 3) che nell'allegato A vi siano comprese le specie che figurano nell'appendice I della Convenzione di Washington e qualsiasi specie in via di estinzione ovvero talmente rara che qualsiasi volume di scambi potrebbe metterne in pericolo la sopravvivenza.
Il regolamento (CE) n. 407/2009 che modifica il succitato regolamento (CE) n. 338/97 inserisce nell'allegato A le specie di uccelli migratori tortora selvatica (Streptopelia turtur) e marzaiola (Anas querquedula) dandone perciò massima tutela.

Regulation (EC) No. 338/97 on the protection of species of wild fauna and flora by regulating their trade provides (Article 3) that in Annex A shall be included the species listed in Appendix I of the Washington Convention and any species threatened with extinction or so rare that any level of trade would imperil the survival.
Regulation (EC) No. 407/2009 amending the above mentioned regulation (EC) No. 338/97 inserts in Annex A the species of wild migratory birds: the European Turtle Dove (Streptopelia turtur) and Garganey (Anas querquedula) thus giving them maximum protection.
