Short statement

I am a professional translator with over five years of specialized training in translation and interpretation. 

I have over five years
of experience working as a full-time interpreter and translator in the 1980s
and early 1990s. In 2022, I was back to the profession as a free-lance
translator.

My working languages are English and Portuguese, with my
mother tongue being Russian. I can also translate texts from Belarusian or
Ukrainian into English or Portuguese. I only accept translation projects within my areas of expertise. My rates are
flexible and depend on the subject, complexity, volume of the text, and other details of the translation or editing project.

I prefer long-term relationships with customers or language
service providers, agreed upon in a service agreement, rather than one-time or
occasional assignments. I am committed to providing high quality translations
and love to work for clients that understand quality-speed-volume equilibrium.
