Source text - English •Migrating elephants
Annual elephant migrations vary considerably depending on environmental conditions. During prolonged dry seasons elephants travel over 100 km. African elephants usually migrate at the beginning of the dry season in June. They use historical routes to head toward rivers and water sources that are not prone to drying. When the rainy season arrives, in October and in March, the herds return to their native regions to feed on the lush, rain-fed vegetation. By migrating, elephants enable the regrowth of vegetation.

Bio
I am a Romanian native, who made UK her home over a decade ago. I have a British Bachelor's degree in Philology(English and French grammar and literature specialism) and am an authorized translator by the Ministry of Justice, Romania. Translation and interpreting have been undercurrents in my UK life, always there but not the main focus. During my career as a bid manager for an architectural practice, I have been working with Romanian clients, translating business and legal documents, architectural and science documents, website and marketing documents.
Due to my literature specialism, I have a particular interest in, and flair for, literary translations.
