Born in an Indonesian family of teachers, I grew up nurturing teaching and training mentality from my parents. The habit of using concise expressions was inculcated to me as well.

After studying Physical Chemistry and Informatics (Computer Science) in France, while working as researcher in applied technologies I started teaching French in the Centre Culturel Français (CCF, now IFI) Jakarta, doing translation and interpretation in both languages.

Then I moved to Japan and experienced broad areas of highly exigent language works including proficiency-level teaching of French, translating training materials in wide-ranging areas of technologies from Japanese/English to Indonesian/French/English, working as translator and announcer at NHK World Radio Japan (Indonesian section), and doing some voluntary teachings of Indonesian culture for Japanese school children.
