Source text - English What does digital mean as a qualifier of activism and condition of critique? On the one hand, this is obvious: we are talking about our current conditions of networked media, personalised mass communication and the production of the devices that support it; we are talking about Big Data, about the general setting of communicative capitalism. On the other hand, there is something that is rather less clear in qualifying activism and critique with ‘digital’, namely the underlying theory of the subject.

De um lado, isto é óbvio: estamos falando sobre nossas condições atuais de mídia em rede, comunicação de massa personalizada e a produção de aparelhos que a suportam; estamos falando sobre Big Data, sobre a formação geral do capitalismo comunicativo. Por outro lado, existe algo que é bem menos claro em qualificar ativismo e crítica com 'digital', ou seja, a teoria subjacente do sujeito.
