Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine; majored in English and French at the university; studied Polish at the Polish Community Centre and Yiddish at the Jewish Community Centre. Taught Yiddish language and literature for over 3 years at the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv. Translated 9 books (and numerous articles) from English, Polish and Yiddish into Russian and Ukrainian. Edited 3 books. 

I occasionally subtitle videos and transcribe interviews.

I have been working as a freelance translator for 11 years. The instability of freelancing is taking its toll on me, and I am currently looking for a regular job, preferably a remote one.
