I am an American who was first introduced to Tagalog as a missionary in the Philippines from 1996-1998. Since then, I've studied Tagalog consistently for the past 20 years.
For 4 years, I was employed as a translator for the Defense Department before starting my own Freelance business that I've been growing ever since. I am fluent in both speaking and reading Tagalog and have taken English linguistics classes at the University of Utah to improve on the finer points of the English language. I've been married to a Filipina for the past 10 years and Tagalog is the language we communicate in at our home.
