I specialise in the translation of literacy and numeracy texts with emphasis on grammar and attention to detail. I take on any project which I know I can do justice to.
I operate as a freelance translator, proofreader and scriptwriter. Being actively involved as resource consultant for the national basic skills project I have access to basic skills materials and software packages.
I lived in Greece for twenty years and am married to a native greek. I am able to translate English into Greek and vice versa paying special attention to current idiomatic use.
I am able to summarise and edit monolingual text in English.
Having spent 3 years as a police officer in Merseyside police force in UK I am familiar with legal procedures and documentation as well as court procedures and documentation.
I was a clerical officer in Government Service for one year.
Currently I am studying for a BA in Business Management alongside my 19 year old son.
