FINDINGS:
Moderate pleural effusion is seen on left side and mild pleural effusion is seen on right side.
There is air space consolidation involving posterior segment of right upper
lobe three small cavities within. A smaller area of air space consolidation is
seen in superior lingular segment of left upper lobe. Small areas of collapse-consolidation are seen in superior and posterior basal segments of right lower
lobe and posterior and lateral basal segments of left lower lobe.
A few plate atelectasis are seen in medial segment of right middle lobe and inferior lingular segment of left upper lobe.
A few right paratracheal lymph nodes are seen, largest measuring 13 x 10 mm. Rest of the lung parenchyma appears normal.
Trachea and main bronchi are normal.
There is cardiomegaly. Great vessels are normal in size.
No evidence of mediastinal mass lesion.
No evidence of pneumothorax.
No evidence of pericardial effusion.
Thoracic esophagus appears normal.
Osteophytes are seen arising from multiple thoracic vertebrae.
Rest of the chest wall is normal.
Visualized sections of abdomen reveal no significant abnormality.
IMPRESSION: In an adult male who is a case of ARDS, follow up CT chest reveals:
• Moderate pleural effusion (L) and mild pleural effusion (R).
• Areas of air space consolidation and plate atelectasis scattered in both lungs.
• Right paratracheal lymphadenopathy.
• Cardiomegaly.
• Thoracic spondylosis.

النتائج:
يظهر وجود انصباب بلوري معتدل على الجانب الأيسر وانصباب بلوري بسيط على الجانب الأيمن.
هناك منطقة تصلد هوائي يتضمن الجزء الخلفي من الفص العلوي الايمن بداخله ثلاثة تجاويف. منطقة تصلد هوائي أصغر تظهر في الجزء اللساني العلوي من الفص العلوي الايسر. مناطق من التصلدات المتهدمة تظهر في الاجزاء العلوية والخلفية القاعدية من الفص الايمن السفلي و الاجزاء الخلفية والوحشية من الفص السفلي الايسر.
قطاعات قليلة من الانخماصات الرئوية تظهر في الجزء الإنسي من الفص الاوسط الايمن و الجزء السفلي اللساني من الفص العلوي الايسر.
تم رؤية عدد قليل من العقد اللمفاوية المجاورة للقصبة الهوائية من الجانب الايمن, أكبر هذه العقد بحجم 13×10 ملم
باقي النسيج الرئوي يظهر بشكل طبيعي.
القصبة الهوائة والقصبة الهوائية الرئيسية تبدوان طبيعيتين.
هناك تضخم في القلب. حجم الاوعية الدموية الرئيسية طبيعي.
لا يوجد دليل على وجود آفات منصفية.
لا يوجد دليل على وجود استرواح صدري.
لا يوجد دليل على انصباب تاموري.
المريء الصدري يظهر بشكل طبيعي.
يمكن رؤية نوابت عظمية ناشئة من عدد من الفقرات الصدرية.
بقية جدار الصدر يبدو طبيعي.
الاجزاء اللتي ظهرت من البطن لم تظهر اي اعتلالات واضحة .
الانطباع: أظهرت الصورة المقطعية للصدر التي أجريت للمتابعة الخاصة بالمريض الذي يعاني من متلازمة الضائقة التنفسية الحادة مايلي:
انصباب بلوري معتدل على الجانب الأيسر وانصباب بلوري بسيط على الجانب الأيمن.
مناطق تصلدهوائي و انخماصات رئوية منتشرة في كلا الرئتين.
تضخم في العقد اللمفاوية المجاورة للقصبة الهوائية من الجانب الايمن.
تضخم في القلب
داء الفقار في الفقرات الصدرية.
