Bio
Graduated in Anthropology in 2018 and rewarded with a "Best Overall Grade" prize. I have been educated in all three countries I have lived in (Brazil, Italy and the United Kingdom), meaning I have a solid grammatical base and a substantial theoretical knowledge of all three languages. I've had the chance to develop my passion for the languages I've learned and maintain my skills by reading books, watching movies, listening to music, watching/reading news or doing personal researches of culturally/academically related topics. Keeping in touch with family and friends, have also helped me to keep up with the natural cultural development of the languages other than helping me to improve and keep my accent. Finally, living in a multicultural city like London have also brought me to interact with Brazilian, English and Italian speakers again meaning I have been inspired to think and keep all three languages. I have been translating and interpreting for a year now, starting with my dissertation project til today. After I've ended my thesis, I kept translating for family, friends, formal and informal events and documents, phone calls and so on. I own a TEFL Certificate and am currently teaching English to a small group of Brazilian speakers. I have a variety of interests which again I like researching and learning in all three languages through short online courses or books. Among this interests I may include human anatomy, neurobiology, marketing psychology and research (including statistics), history, philosophy, and literature.
