Bio

My educational background includes a degree equivalent to MA in Persian and Georgian languages (1989) and a PhD from Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University, Department of Oriental Studies, earned in 2002 on the questions of Georgian-Persian linguistic relationships. I have been working in the Institute of Linguistics, Department of Lexicology. I have edited books translated from Persian to Georgian. Also I’m an editor of a Persian-Georgian dictionary. I have gained extensive experience working as a legal interpreter between the Georgian-Persian language pair for court, public prosecutor's and other law enforcement organs.
